Momentum Australia (Momentum for Men p/l) was birthed out of a burning desire of Founders and co-hosts Des and Tim, to reach out to the men of Australia using the medium of radio and podcasts.
Momentum is dedicated to equipping men to succeed in life, by encouraging men to step up as Christian men, as Dads, as Husbands, as mates, and friends. They also urge men to find a safe and trusted community where they can do life together, be held accountable, be discipled and also disciple others.
Des came from a background of building Men’s Christian Connect Groups, and Tim came from a 20-year history in Christian Radio broadcasting within Australia.
Each week the show tackles a range of subjects that affect men from all walks of life, and loves to delve into the subjects not often covered in church or mixed connect groups. Identity, Marriage, Divorce, Fatherhood, Finances, Faith, Addictions, Mental Health, Trauma and Shame, are just some of the topics covered in the 120
episodes to date.
Momentum Australia first went to air in 2021, and is now broadcast on 38 Christian Radio Stations, as well as across the 750 transmitters of the Vision Radio Network. It is the only syndicated Christian Men’s radio show aired across Australia.
